Dear Hercules Team,
I hope you are doing well.
First of all, thank you for building such an excellent platform. Hercules has significantly accelerated my product development process, and I genuinely appreciate the innovation and effort your team continues to invest in the product.
I would like to share a customer suggestion regarding the current package and credit purchasing model. This is not a complaint, but rather feedback from a user’s perspective that may be worth considering if it aligns with your business goals.
At the moment, when a package is exhausted, users are generally encouraged to either wait until the billing cycle ends or upgrade to a higher tier. While this may work well for some customers, I believe there is a segment of users who would benefit from being able to repurchase the same package multiple times within the same billing period.
For example, I may be able to comfortably purchase a $25 package several times throughout a month as my project requirements grow. However, if the only option available is to upgrade to a $100 or $250 package, I may not have the budget available for that larger one-time purchase at that moment, even though I am still actively using the platform and willing to spend more.
In that situation, I am not stopping because I no longer need credits. I am stopping because I cannot make the larger upfront payment. If I were allowed to repurchase the same package again, I would likely continue purchasing it multiple times as needed.
From a business perspective, this could potentially unlock additional revenue that might otherwise be lost. Some customers may be capable of purchasing the same package repeatedly, generating more total revenue over time than a single forced upgrade. In other words, allowing smaller but more frequent purchases could help both customers and Hercules achieve their goals.
One possible solution could be to:
- Allow customers to repurchase their current package before it expires.
- Offer optional credit top-ups without requiring a plan upgrade.
- Allow multiple purchases of the same package within a billing cycle.
Of course, I understand there may be technical, operational, or business considerations behind the current structure. I simply wanted to share this observation as feedback from an active customer who would gladly continue purchasing additional credits when needed.
Thank you again for the great work your team is doing, and for taking the time to consider this suggestion.
Kind regards,
A Hercules Customer
