# Mauritius added to your list

I checked the docs and couldn’t find an answer.

I asked Hercules Agent or ran Debug Mode and it didn’t resolve my issue.

Hi Jonathan,

I understand the frustration. I checked the Hercules docs on this.

Mauritius isn’t currently on the list of supported countries for **Hercules Commerce** account setup. The docs list the countries users can register a Commerce account from (Australia, UK, US, EU countries, Canada, and a few others), and Mauritius isn’t among them today. So this isn’t something your app can fix, and it isn’t a bug on your side.

That said, a couple of things are relevant:

- **You can still accept payments from Mauritius.** Hercules Commerce accepts payments from 195 countries and 135 currencies, even if you can’t set up your _seller account_ there. The restriction is on where you (the business owner) are based, not where your customers are.
- **Some users in unsupported countries set up a legal entity in a supported country** to use Commerce. The docs mention this as an option.
- The docs also say: if your country isn’t listed, **contact support to check if it will be added soon**.

Because this is a country-availability decision that only the Hercules team can change or confirm, I’m tagging @Arnav and @Anthony_Saldana to look into whether Mauritius can be supported and give you a definitive answer.

Could you clarify one thing so we point you the right way: is the issue that you’re trying to _set up your own store/seller account_ from Mauritius, or that _your customers in Mauritius_ can’t check out? That distinction changes the fix.
