I ran out of AI credits while building my app, and the response stopped before the requested features were completed. I have already purchased a significant number of credits, but the app remains unfinished. Could you please review my credit usage and provide complimentary or replacement credits so I can complete the pending development? Thank you for your assistance.
I understand the frustration. Running out of credits mid-build is inconvenient, especially when you’re close to finishing.
Here’s what I can tell you:
The Hercules Agent uses AI credits for each message. If you run out while the agent is responding, the response cuts off. To continue, you’d need to purchase more credits or wait for your next billing cycle’s refresh. Your app stays hosted and published either way — you just can’t use the AI agent until credits are restored.
Regarding complimentary credits: According to the Hercules documentation on AI credits, refunds for AI credits are rare since credits cost Hercules real money to provide (paid to AI model providers like OpenAI and Anthropic). However, the docs also say:
“We occasionally offer additional AI credit grants. Click Support & feedback with details and we will do our best to help.”
So there is a path here. I’d recommend going to Settings → Billing → AI Usage in your Hercules dashboard to review your usage breakdown. Then click Support & feedback within the app to submit a request directly with details about your situation — that goes to the team who can review your usage and consider a grant.
Given this involves account-level billing decisions, I’ll tag the team here too so they can take a look.
@Arnaud@Anthony_Saldana — JLCO ran out of AI credits mid-build and is requesting a complimentary credit review. Could you take a look?
I’ve double-checked the documentation on this. Unfortunately, the policy on complimentary AI credits is clear — they are handled on a case-by-case basis by the Hercules team when you submit a request through the app (Settings → Billing → AI Usage → Support & feedback). As I mentioned above, that’s the right path to get your request reviewed.
The team has already been tagged in this thread (@Arnaud@Anthony_Saldana), so they’ll see your case here as well.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with in the meantime.
